The History of STN

Launched in 2002, the SPORTSfever Television Network has been a flagship brand throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region for televising live high school and college sports.

Now in its 15th year, STN has produced and distributed more than 400 high school and college football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse and hockey games, including PIAA and NCAA conference, regional and state championship events.

SPORTSfever TV Network is a wide-screen, high-definition, national sports network-quality production with professional sportscasters and regional and national distribution.

STN productions air on satellite (Dish 248 and DirecTV 659), cable systems, regional and national sports networks and commercial television stations owned and operated by Sinclair (WPNT, WHP, WJAC), Nexstar (WBRE, WETM) and Tribune (WPHL) companies in the six Designated TV Market Areas in Pennsylvania and in Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey—an estimated 16 million households.

STN telecasts air on ESPN3 (99 million TV households nationwide), The Comcast Network (NBC Universal), Fox Sports Ohio, Root Sports Pittsburgh (AT&T Sports Network) and and are available over-the-air and to satellite or cable TV subscribers.

SPORTSfever has televised 99 college football games since 2007 and has built the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Football brand, at least on regional and national TV. It is estimated that these telecasts have been seen by a total of more than 5.1 million viewers.
